This is the latest project I worked on for Kelly and Brandy Simmons, it was also by far one of the most fun. Who wouldn't have fun making wedding invitations using doughnuts and bicycles! Brandy and Kelly got married last week at
Voodoo Doughnut in Portland Oregon. Congrats!

Cape Fear Home Services is one of the latest projects I have been working on. This is my brother and sister in-laws start up home services company. It's a great idea for local businesses to get noticed and for people looking for a handyman, plumber, gardener etc. to get great deals at no extra charge.
I had the opportunity to design their logo and some collateral for them.
Be sure to visit their website at

Thankfully we didn't get hit to bad, mostly just wind and rain and a bit of a leak in our laundry room. Some people in town were not so lucky and north of us. Here are a few photos I took down at the beach after the storm. Check out my
flickr page to see more.

I'm the worst blogger. You heard it here first.
However, I have been super busy lately, with some freelance, work trips, mini vacation... no excuses.
Check out my photos from
Jacksonville FL and NYC. More to come with what projects I have been working on and much more as I will try to be a better blogger. Thanks for hanging around.

Here's a look at what I've been working on lately...
After we moved, I found this wind chime that I thought I had packed nicely so it wouldn't get tangled well after I unpacked it and spent an hour trying to untangle it, I decided it was going to be used for something else. So, I cut all the little coconut tags off and painted them and now I'm making necklaces out of them, using hemp cord and beads. I have only gotten a few done but I will have them for sale on
Etsy soon. Tell me what you think!

So this month has been pretty amazing so far (knock on wood). My birthday was first up I turned 30! Kind of a crazy. Nothing like I expected, I guest I expected to be depressed about it or something, but it was not like that at all, in fact I think it was one of my best birthdays. We celebrated with a great cookout, fire pit, smores, donut pinata made by my amazing husband the whole works.
Then, I got a promotion, I am now the assistant manager at the toy store I work at, so far so good, (still training).
And finally, last nights supermoon! I know, I know. Some of you don't think it was that great. I tend to be a pretty positive person though and I thought it was pretty amazing. Here are a few flix, check out more on my
flickr page.
